Supercar Driving Experiences Compared (2026): Real Price Per Lap

Prices checked October 7, 2026. Operators change packages often, so confirm on the booking page.

I've wanted a Lamborghini since I was a kid with a poster on the wall. Most of us will never own one, but almost anyone can drive one on a real track for a few hundred dollars. The catch is that every operator prices it differently. Some sell five laps, some three, some sell minutes. Some include damage coverage and some make you buy it at checkout.

So this page does one thing. It puts every operator we could verify on the same scale: dollars per lap, with the insurance and age rules next to it. Prices come straight from each operator's own site.

How to compare these without getting fooled

Divide by laps, always. A $199 three-lap package and a $399 five-lap package are not "cheap" and "expensive". They are $66 and $80 a lap, and the gap shrinks fast once you add the fees below.

Read the insurance line before the price. Dream Racing in Las Vegas includes damage coverage in the package. Xtreme Xperience requires a Driver Protection Plan on top of the sticker price ($39 to $129, with deductibles from $6,000 down to $2,000). Superspeed Orlando includes coverage but leaves you an $8,000 deductible unless you pay $75 to drop it to $3,000.

Your first two laps are school. You spend them learning where the track goes. A five-lap package gives you about three laps where you are actually driving the car, which is why the 7 to 10 lap packages are usually the better buy per lap.

Permanent tracks beat tour stops for flexibility. Dream Racing, SpeedVegas, Superspeed Orlando and DriveXotic run year-round. Xtreme Xperience is a touring event that visits each speedway for a few days, so your date has to fit theirs.

Drive vs ride-along

Every operator also sells ride-alongs: a pro drives, you scream. They cost $79 to $279 and they are a great add-on for whoever came with you. They are not a driving experience, so they are left out of the per-lap rankings on this site.

Questions people ask

How much does it cost to drive a Lamborghini on a track?

In 2026 a Lamborghini Huracán drive runs from $299 for 4 laps at DriveXotic near Fort Worth to $399 for 5 laps in Las Vegas (Dream Racing or SpeedVegas) or $399 for 3 laps at an Xtreme Xperience tour stop, before any required protection plan.

Do I need a driver's license?

Yes. Every operator we could verify requires a valid driver's license to drive. Most require drivers to be 18 or older; Dream Racing in Las Vegas allows licensed 16 and 17 year olds with a parent or guardian's waiver.

Is insurance included?

It depends on the operator. Dream Racing includes it. DriveXotic includes a base damage protection tier with paid upgrades. Superspeed Orlando includes coverage with an $8,000 driver deductible ($75 to reduce it). Xtreme Xperience requires you to buy a protection plan from $39. SpeedVegas offers an optional damage protection plan.

How many laps should I buy?

If the budget allows, 7 to 10. The first couple of laps go to learning the track, and multi-lap packages are cheaper per lap: Dream Racing's 10-lap Huracán works out to $64 a lap versus $80 for 5 laps.

Cheapest way into a supercar on this list: Nissan GT-R at Xtreme Xperience.
